LATE NITE 'DUB' ADDICT

Dan Smith AKA (Late Nite 'DUB' Addict) states he his not 'New' to the house world as he has been involved in house music since the early (90's) as a raver and club promoter / DJ learning his craft on his first pair of (Technics 1210's) Daniel admired bands such as (Altern-8 + New Atlantic / Bizarre Inc / N-Joi / and The Prodigy!!! He played the drums for bands at school and was privileged that his school had a some what decent music department with a studio consisting of an Atari ST running a primitive version of Cubase. This was the first time he got a flavour for how dance music could be produced and at 15 he used a Classic (Korg MS-20) armed with cubase to do so.

Years later whilst DJ'ing & promoting local events he bought an early version of (Reason) by (Propellorheads) it was then he found his calling as a producer. Years later he was lucky enough to play his own track at Ibiza's famous (Cafe Mambo). Inspired by the experience - He went on to release his first (x5) tracksin 2016 after a chance meeting with DJ (Eddie Halliwell). He now owns + manages (DEEP 'N' DOPE RECORDS (UK) and has released a string of releases under his alias (Late Nite 'DUB' Addict) and other alias's such as (Freak Inside / Alter Boy + Paper Ticket People) He has also released music on Scott Featherstones (Middlesbrough's - Jupiter Label) and has numerous charted success on Traxsource that has earnt him fans+ followers in countries such as Spain / Germany / Italy / Canada / France / Croatia / Holland / America / + South Africa. With his recent success on (Middlesbrough's) Vinyl Only (Jupiter Label) with his track (Funkster) on the (Constellation EP) Kym Sims approached him asking him to work on an (Acid House) Remix to be released as part of her (NEW) (Dance-floor EP). He has played gigs alongside - DJ Boring / Lenny Fontana / Ian Van Dahl / Ultra Beat / Dimiti from Paris / and MK (Marc Kinchen).

He is one of the residents at (Legends of House) and continues to release on his own label and (Middlesbroughs - Jupiter Label) He has a close team of carefully selected artists including (Filta Freqz / Karl 'Goodo' Goodison (Born2Groove) / Scott Featherstone / and stoke DJ Duo (Four Feet Deep) signed to his label along with releasing under his own alias's (Freak Inside / Alter Boy / Paper Ticket People and also his Late Nite 'DUB' Addict guise.
