DJ THADX

Music has always been the main driving force in DJ THÄDX’s life. He grew up listening to a plethora of genres including Chris Brown, Luke Bryan, Tiesto, David Guetta and others. he fell deeply into electronica and DJ culture, which inspired him to begin doing local DJ gigs and producing EDM/Dance. Being located in Nashville, THÄDX’s path made him a real enigma with few outlets available in a scene dominated by country musicians. Thad was inspired to look into the roots of some of his favorite artists and discovered TRAX Records. He could see how artists like Frankie Knuckles and Farley Jackmaster Funk from the label helped forge the path to todays house and electronic sounds. In 2017 an accident that electrocuted him on a construction site almost took his life, but thankfully his survival only made him more determined to pursue his dreams. As fate would have it during the pandemic a young breakthrough country artist Chris Clark, made an introduction to label owner/artist, Rachael Cain AKA Screamin’ Rachael. To quote Rachael, “I really didn’t think I’d find talent for TRAX here, but I’m committed to DJ THÄDX and I’m even finding other young talent to look at. Thad is helping to bring our label’s sound to this state and like I always say; you can’t stop the house! He’s ready to take on the world and I’m confident that he’ll soon make a significant mark on the music scene.”
