Marcus Mixx (born April 25, 1966, Chicago, Illinois) has been making house music since the mid-80s, when the style was the beating heart of Chicago nightlife. Over his career, he has been recording different types of house ranging from acid to deep to techno weird. He often experiments with sounds and effects that don’t fit into the normal mode. He is currently the A & R and Production Manager for TRAX RECORDS.
